I think we may hear an “Amen” from our readers for this article from Painter’s Keys. As Sara Genn says,

When a desired outcome can’t be reached one can identify alternative ways of thinking and manage unpleasant feelings more… manageably. . . The irksome disruption of an otherwise creative good time can, instead of ruining everything, spark the contemplation of better ways to make better art.
