Covid creativity: 26May2020

By Susan Irving.

Here is how I have been spending some of my time, painting more decorative rocks for my garden.

This one is in memory of my daughter’s mischievous rabbit, Timbit.  He loved to eat sweet clover so I have tried to depict him in a field of it.

I have been meaning to do this one for some time now as a gift to my daughter. It is acrylic on one of the many rocks that litter my property.  With several coats of outdoor varnish the painted rocks weather being outside for 3 or 4 years before needing to be revarnished or have any other sort of refurbishment. They do, however need to be stored indoors over the winter.

Hope you are keeping safe, well and are in good spirits.

    • Thanks Milo, they are not particularly large, and I have a small wagon so I can bring them back to the barn all at once.
