Monday evening, the 20th of November, I made a presentation of my life-sized Leonardo da Vinci Flying Machine ( with a model shown ) to the VKH Nature Society at VCI. It is now hanging at the $10mm Weber Public Library outside Salt Lake City.
I also made a video out of my many photos taken during my 2-year, 350-hour construction. The final plane, at 20 ft wide x 10 ft deep, mirrors da Vinci’s famous original drawings from around 1450.
The red exhibit booth shown up front was never built but that is how they found me up here ! There are not many of these museum quality works built and on display worldwide, likely due to costs.

Thank you, Bob, for sharing those amazing pictures and pieces of your own story. Congrats. I had the privilege to be in The Clos Lucé where Da Vinci was in residence for the King of France. Breathtaking place, with lots of Da Vinci’s machines and drawings. How exceptional he was!
