Here is something I have been working on, on and off, for a couple of months now. It is a mixed media piece incorporating acrylics, small branches and bits of wild seeds and grasses, a piece of jewellery, some  T-shirt paint, bits of acrylic “skins” and flakes of gold foil. Oh, and glass “stones” and bits of gold thread from a scarf!

I am not really sure it is finished yet and I think the proper frame would enhance it but I have yet to find the right frame.  It is on stretched canvas, 8 x 20, which means I will probably have to get it professionally framed as I have not been able to find a floating frame in those dimensions. Which I would do, were I sure it was actually finished. 

I guess I will just leave it hanging on the wall for as long as it takes for me to decide whether or not it is done. Thus far, I am calling it The Moongate  but that could change at some point too.
