The collage activity at our July Collectif Coffee House generated concentrated interest. Let the pictures tell the story.

No, Veronica isn’t simply reading Storage, she’s researching items to use in her collage. As are Helene [L], Isabelle [R] and Laura [standing]. Folks in the background are laying out and gluing.

People focused on composition, trimming, layout and delicate gluing manoeuvres.

There was also time to chat, have coffee with home-baked goodies too.

And, at the end of the evening, folks took home their experiments.
We don’t have activities at every Coffee House. We do plan a few each year for folks to try their hand at different media or products. Do you have an idea for a brief (90 minute) exploration we could try? Let us know at cagac.ca@gmail.com
Thanks to Milo Smith for the many photos.
I wish I could have joined you.

It was a great night. I thought I couldn’t work with the stamps and chatting with others at the same time. It tuned out I could. And I enjoyed it. Bonus: I even learned a thing or two. Thanks for capturing the moments, Milo.

Well I’m sorry I missed it. I got into my own art zone at home and totally forgot.
