Here are some wood burnings I’ve done recently. Tina [wife, member Tina Whitman] gave me the system to do the burning for my birthday back in September.

The Eagle and Turkey are on a vertical gun rack I made.

This one of me is from the Sturgis Rally back in ’17. [The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is held annually in the Black Hills and Sturgis, South Dakota, USA. The 10-day event attracted 480,000 keen folk in 2017. Wikipedia]

The western one is a “rendition” of a Davis Uhl painting. Just a different setting. and a brunette in lieu of a blond.

Collectif members, send an image (or a few) of very recent work to cagac.ca@gmail.com with up to 100 words describing what you did, materials used, inspiration, etc. Maybe share how you’re feeling & how creativity helps. We’d like an informative, inspiring show & tell. Writers, send us poetry, lyrics, a short piece or excerpt.
As I’ve seen some of your paintings at the Collective Art Exhibitions at Brent’s Place, and now see what you can do in woodburning, I must say you and Tina are an amazing combination of talent galore! Beautiful works!…SandraSent from Samsung tablet

Wow! amazing detail.
My father used to do woodburning and I would often watch him, so I have a decent idea of the effort put into these pieces.
