Covid creativity: 17 July 2020

KATdinsky’s first painting!

Well okay, not so much a painting as a “smoosh”. KATdinsky was more interested in lying down on it.  Still, he’s just a kitten.

It’s titled, “Reclining Kitten #1”.

Reclining Kitten #1

Local  critics’ comments:

  • Where’s a photo of the paint-covered kitten?!? That would have been a great Covid creativity post!
  • And photos of the disgruntled kitty after the bath you had to give him to get the paint off!  Title: “Pissed-off Picasso”?

Manager’s response: Dear critics, as a responsible pet owner,  I did not let the kitten actually touch the paint, as it is toxic. I squirted paint onto a small canvas then put it inside a zip lock bag.

However, I now have non-toxic paint which, I am assured, will not harm him even if he eats it.

More to come…..when I have the energy.

Sincerely,

KATdinsky’s manager

  2. This piece suggests latent energy waiting to be released within the seeming serenity of a blue dream like state. He looks to be an intelligent fellow who is planning something. He will be clawing his way to being a master of the “Feline Smoosh” movement by one day creating the purrfect masterpiece.

  3. At first I thought you meant you put the kitten in a ziplock bag… hahaha! That made me laugh (at myself). A very interesting “technique” and one that I think you can make a business of. Imagine all the pet-lovers who would love nothing more than to have a unique painting by their very own pet on their wall! I see a future here… Super fun and creative!

  4. I too thought the cat went in the zip lock! I’d like to know who KATdinsky’s manager is. Perhaps hire him/her/it for marketing – great back story.
