Collectif Creativity: 27Nov2023

by Bobi Leutschaft Poitras

Drunk?

Staggering down the long, dark hall,
I tripped over the dog.
Attempting to recall the day,
My mind is trapped in fog.
My insides feel like outsides now,
As to my room I crawl,
Don’t try to help me up because
I might cause you to fall.
This sickness that I feel can’t be
Attributed to drink,
My brain shut down from overload;
I’ve had too much to think.
