Sometimes we need a palate cleanser get a taste out of our mouth. Occasionally, we might need a palette cleanser to change up what’s going on in our creativity.
I’ve been painting a number of abstracts lately, including this moody piece:

I find abstracts challenging and enjoyable, but needed a change of pace. I had this tiny oval canvas kicking around the studio for years and decided to create something different with it.
I recently completed this cute, cheerful, figurative work to cleanse everything.

It’s loose, colourful and makes me smile! Some of the colours are leftover from the moodier pieces. Pink and aqua are also evident in works currently in the studio, but a refreshing change!
Isn’t it time you shared your creative activities?

Writers – we want to hear from you! Send poetry, lyrics, an excerpt. Try to include an image of some sort because that’s the media world we live in.
Everyone, share informative, inspiring Show & Tell demonstrating the creative mind.
I love “Obsessed” with its abundance of geometric shapes and bright colours. Your little ark is quite a change of pace!

I was kinda obsessed with geometrics (still am). But colour is always supreme with me. Thank you!
