Hope you are all enjoying all the snow we’ve been getting. I personally can’t wait for spring to arrive! However I have been inspired to paint two winter scenes this year.
One is from a picture I took about three years ago when we first moved to South Lancaster. We are not far from Hwy 2 and the Raisin River, so I took a picture from the bridge and put it aside hoping to paint it one day.
Well three years later and here it is.

The second work is from a picture of a recent winter scene in Lasalle Park in Lachine, Que, my home town. I often took walks through the park with my daughter while I was living there. I added the figure walking through the snow to give it more life.

Olga: Nice paintings. I like the feel of the Lachine Park with the person walking. Gives the image lots of life.

Thanks Milo! Brings back memories also. I lived within walking distance to that park.
