I was driving along the Raisin River and came across a Great Egret looking for lunch. I shot him (it?) with a 400 mm lens and then enlarged it 4X. So far, a nice but a not so special Egret.

Next, I thought, make it more prominent and so in image #2 our Egret at 16X.

OK but still just a nice bird. Some plusses and minuses. Larger image but no reflection.
Time to get creative, so I inverted the image and got this abstract almost watercolour-like image with odd colours.

Finally, I applied a hue adjustment and got a more “realistic” watercolour-like image of the bird on a green background.
