I usually take a break from painting in the summer. But I can share with the group an oil painting I originally started in 2017 in Lachine, Quebec while we were still living there. I only completed it this year in April in South Lancaster.
I found the picture on Pixabay and loved the old style country window with the flowers on the sill. Since we moved to the country I thought it only right to finish it.
I found a plain wood unfinished frame at Value Village, painted it then rubbed it to give it a worn look.
