Collectif Creativity: 12May2022

by Mary Wilson

Here is a Senryu, a different form of poem than a Haiku, as Haikus are generally about nature.  Both have the same structure, subject matter being the only difference.

My Covid Reaction

Heartsick, I become
Withdrawn. Separation is
Both worse and better.

Here is an image in the same mood. I did this from a picture taken on a rare vacation. Colour pencil on paper; 8 1/2’ X 11”; “Matane Beach”; 2019. This is actually a receding tide on a rocky beach, photographed looking straight down.

  1. Your Senryu speaks to us all, and your Mantane Beach drawing is calm and interesting. I hope to see more of your work soon…!
