Browsing photos on a rainy Saturday and put together this post on animal portraits

Loyalist of Lochiel: I met Loyalist on a drive-about a few years ago, on Lochiel Road.

Bloomin’ Cat: Almost missed this fellow among the blooms on one of our travels.

Magoo: A lady who rescued parrots brought some of her birds to our house one day.

Guy: Another rescued parrot. This image received Special Recognition in the Light, Space & Time Art Exhibition, Patterns 2020, from among 842 entries from 25 countries.

The Seal of Mordreuc: Mordreuc is a village on the Rance River in Brittany, France. On a jetty on the beach a visitor would find this seal basking in the sun. She made it into the guidebooks and if you google her you will find many photos of her. I took this shot in 2008.

 Parking Spot: Raven at rest.

Treed Duck: I believe this to be a black-bellied whistling duck, shot in Mexico.
