Covid Creativity: 12Jan2022

by Olga Harhaj

I wanted to share with the group a couple of Christmas/Holiday crafts I made. The cat portrait tree ornament was done recently and given as a gift to my daughter and son in law as they have an orange tabby cat as a pet. It was painted with acrylics on a wood cutout of a cat that I had purchased at Michael’s. The size is 4″ x 4″. My first attempt at painting a cat– well at least the head.

The other two are wreaths I made a few years back. One is a Holiday wreath I made mostly of pine cones I picked up in different areas, nuts and craft cherries.

The other can be used as an all year round wreath to decorate the home.

Also, I would like to take the opportunity to wish the group Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a happy and healthy New year! [Ed note: was submitted before Xmas but we have a line-up!]

Take care, Olga Harhaj Czuma and Walter Czuma

Start the new year right, Collectif members, show us your creativity! Send JPG images of work completed since March 2020 to cagac.ca@gmail.com with up to 100 words per image describing what you did, materials used, inspiration, etc. Maybe share how you’re feeling more than a year into the Covid experience & how/if creativity helps.

Give us informative, inspiring show & tell. Writers, send us poetry, lyrics, a short piece or excerpt and try to include a suitable illustration of some sort. For all images please include size (height by width), title & media. Thank you!
