Covid Creativity: 12Jan2022

by Olga Harhaj

I wanted to share with the group a couple of Christmas/Holiday crafts I made. The cat portrait tree ornament was done recently and given as a gift to my daughter and son in law as they have an orange tabby cat as a pet. It was painted with acrylics on a wood cutout of a cat that I had purchased at Michael’s. The size is 4″ x 4″. My first attempt at painting a cat– well at least the head.

The other two are wreaths I made a few years back. One is a Holiday wreath I made mostly of pine cones I picked up in different areas, nuts and craft cherries.

The other can be used as an all year round wreath to decorate the home.

Also, I would like to take the opportunity to wish the group Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a happy and healthy New year! [Ed note: was submitted before Xmas but we have a line-up!]

Take care, Olga Harhaj Czuma and Walter Czuma

Start the new year right, Collectif members, show us your creativity! Send JPG images of work completed since March 2020 to with up to 100 words per image describing what you did, materials used, inspiration, etc. Maybe share how you’re feeling more than a year into the Covid experience & how/if creativity helps.

Give us informative, inspiring show & tell. Writers, send us poetry, lyrics, a short piece or excerpt and try to include a suitable illustration of some sort. For all images please include size (height by width), title & media. Thank you!
