I was looking to post something entirely different from my paintings but still on the creative side.
This photo was taken last year in April during the height of Covid. We had booked two vacations for that year, one in March for Cuba and then one in April for Costa Rica. Both got canceled of course so we figured we would stage our own vacation in our house during the lockdown. This was only a few months after we moved to South Lancaster.
We posted the picture on my Facebook page along with the following blurb and received a great response.

Come on Collectif members, show us your creativity! Send JPG images of work completed since March 2020 to cagac.ca@gmail.com with up to 100 words per image describing what you did, materials used, inspiration, etc. Maybe share how you’re feeling more than a year into the Covid experience & how/if creativity helps.
Give us informative, inspiring show & tell. Writers, send us poetry, lyrics, a short piece or excerpt and try to include a suitable illustration of some sort. For all images please include size (height by width), title & media. Thank you!
Love it! It is so good to have a positive attitude, despite how weird things have been since Covid began.

Exactly! We have to stay positive and make the best of it. Hopefully by next year we will all be able to make that special trip.
