Covid Creativity: 21Aug2021

by Susan Latreille

I haven’t been doing as much photography lately but found recently that my gardens are too enticing to not take a walkabout with my camera.

Many floral photos later, some keepers, some not, but I always take a second look before sending a photo to the trash bin. This particular photo was too busy, with no particular focus, but I love the deep blue colour of these Centaurea/bachelor’s buttons, so I set to work with some editing (cropped, enhanced lighting and colour, framed) and I love the final results.

Isn’t it time your work was here?!? Collectif members, we want to see your work! Send JPG images of work completed since March 2020 to cagac.ca@gmail.com with up to 100 words per image describing what you did, materials used, inspiration, etc. Maybe share how you’re feeling more than a year into the Covid experience & how/if creativity helps.

Give us informative, inspiring show & tell. Writers, send us poetry, lyrics, a short piece or excerpt and try to include a suitable illustration of some sort. For all images please include size (height by width), title & media. Thank you!
