Starting today, 7 July 2021, the Glengarry Pioneer Museum in Dunvegan, Ontario, kicks off a two-week online auction fundraiser of over 40 items, featuring many local craftspeople, businesses and Collectif artists. This auction will generate much-needed funds for the museum and give the donors visibility (also a warm and fuzzy feeling!).
The online auction opened for bidding at noon on Wednesday, 7 July. People can place their bids on a variety of items including paintings, woodworking, ironwork, textiles and jewelry. Also various services are available including golf, massage therapy, knife sharpening and a photography shoot.
The auction closes at noon Wednesday, 21 July. The winning bidders will be contacted with details for picking up their goods from the museum or, alternatively, can arrange for shipment.
