I have one more painting for the group. Will take a small break after this to do some other things and enjoy the warmer weather.
This is my oil painting of the historic Glengarry cairn in South Lancaster. The actual photo was taken this spring by local photographer Kat Hebb. She gave me permission to use her photo to paint the scene.
I loved the colours I saw in her picture and the fact that the cairn was not yet hidden by the usual foliage of the trees. The only thing I decided to add were the geese flying overhead.
