This has definitely been a productive year for me!
I decided to paint a winter snowy scene this time. I found an image that spoke to me, on Pixabay, of a scene from Central Park in NY with Christmas shoppers and a gentle snow fall. I wanted to give the scene a little pop of color and not have it looking too bleak, especially during these times.
I call this painting Blue Umbrella. It is currently on exhibit at the Cailuan Gallery during their “Holly Jolly Christmas Show”, along with some of my other paintings.

Collectif members, send an image (or a few) of very recent work to cagac.ca@gmail.com with up to 100 words describing what you did, materials used, inspiration, etc. Maybe share how you’re feeling & how creativity helps. We’d like an informative, inspiring show & tell. Writers, send us poetry, lyrics, a short piece or excerpt.
Beautiful.

Beautiful. I know it’s in NY, but it makes me think of Montreal 🙂

Thanks! It also gave me that feel as we are originally from Lachine and have a similar looking park.
