Still with the watercolour (see 10Nov2020). I played with paint on 140 lb watercolour paper and then went in to try to give more strength to the images.
I have been working with line more in my acrylic works and so tried it with the watercolours, picking out shapes created by the watercolour brushwork and using the acrylic pen to highlight them.
Collectif members, send an image (or a few) of very recent work to email@example.com with up to 100 words describing what you did, materials used, inspiration, etc. Maybe share how you’re feeling & how creativity helps. We’d like an informative, inspiring show & tell. Writers, send us poetry, lyrics, a short piece or excerpt.
I like the contrast between the soft edges in the sky and water sections vis a vis the strong forms you made with the lines.
Very original especially using the acrylic pen to highlight. Almost has a mosaic look. Great job!
Lovely new experiments! I especially like “Favourite Places”.
Lynne, as always, your work is unique and beautiful.
