Covid Creativity: 14Nov2020

by Susan Irving

I just finished this one at the end of October. I had a lot of very pretty “skins” left from my experiments with pouring and they struck me as very floral and too pretty to waste. [Ed: Acrylic skins are films of paint peeled from a surface they have dried on.]

This mixed media work incorporates crayon, paper cuttings , jewellery, acrylic inks and, of course, the acrylic skins, on bamboo panel.

Smell the Flowers, mixed media on bamboo panel 12 x 9 in.

Don’t be shy Collectif members! Send an image (or a few) of work created since March 2020 to cagac.ca@gmail.com with up to 100 words describing what you did, materials used, inspiration, etc.

Maybe share how you’re feeling & how creativity helps. We’d LOVE an informative, inspiring show & tell.

Writers, send us poetry, lyrics, a short piece or excerpt. An accompanying image is always welcome!
