Covid Creativity: 17Oct2020

by Suzanne Deguire

By painting watercolours I feel like I am doing something and I am not living one wasted day after another.

Art helps me stay mentally active. I focus on the good and have something to look forward to every day. Something fun, something wonderful, something I love.

I consider myself blessed to have a few great projects.

Purple doors in Pouzol-Minervois, France.  7x 10 in.
Canal de la Robine, Narbonne, France  7 x 10 in.

Collectif members, send an image (or a few) of very recent work to cagac.ca@gmail.com with up to 100 words describing what you did, materials used, inspiration, etc. Maybe share how you’re feeling & how creativity helps. We’d like an informative, inspiring show & tell. Writers, send us poetry, lyrics, a short piece or excerpt.

  1. Lovely! I am of the same mentality. I have also focused more on my art during this year as it helps me get through so many days when I could be feeling down. Painting or being creative helps us to stay positive and know that things will eventually get better. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Very lovely Suzanne! Watercolours are often a good way to go when you need to paint but don’t wish to have yet another canvas to store away. The ones that turn out the way you want them to can be matted and framed and the others can be stored away and used later for reference. Although, often when you dig them out years later, you find they are much better than you thought they were.
