Since moving from Lachine to South Lancaster late last year I have been motivated to paint the new scenes I see around me as I take my walks near the lake shore by the wharf. I always have my camera phone ready with me in case I see something that inspires me.
This spring, during Covid, I took a picture along the shore near the wharf which inspired me to paint this oil painting in September.
I loved the composition and dash of burnt sienna that brought warmth to the picture. Hope you enjoy it too!
