Seeing what other members of CAGAC are contributing to our web page gives me a sense of connection that helps me focus on my current project, so thank you everyone.
During Covid, I’m accumulating countless photos from my garden or taken during my daily walks, then I select the most interesting photo for the study that I want to work on.
From one of those photos I have done the following four studies; first two pieces are the results of batik on textile and the last two are oil on canvas.

Collectif members, share what you are creating. Send one image or several vow your current work to cagac.ca@gmail.com with up to 100 words describing it. Tell us what you did, why, materials used, inspiration, etc. Six months into the pandemic (!!) share how you’re feeling & how creativity helps. Writers, send poetry, lyrics, a short piece or excerpt with an image, please..
Paulette, those are beautiful!!! I agree – seeing what everyone is up to is an inspiration!

Very beautiful Paulette. 👌
It’s amazing with the textile the look of the painting is so soft.

I love what you’ve done Paulette, the different interpretations (from soft & moody to dramatic) of the exact same subject just as I was trying to show with the photo editing.

I love all the different interpretations of the same subject. Your colour choices are lovely.

Interesting to see the two different interpretations in each medium. We don’t need a lot of different subjects for inspiration when every subject can be interpreted in endlessly different ways. That in itself is inspiration.
