These artworks are inspired by the two Davids, Uhl and Mann. My idols. Uhl is known for oil paintings of vintage Harley Davidson bikes. Mann (1940-2004) was known as “the biker world’s artist-in-residence.”
My BIG bike trip in June along Route 66 from Chicago to LA has been cancelled by this virus. Hope I can cross this trip off my bucket list before I can’t ride any more.
Since I can’t travel, I paint.

It boggles the mind when something as simple as a slim piece of wood, with hairs attached at one end, when dipped into colourful paints and slightly manipulated by talented fingers, images of reality spring to life. How I admire this artist’s amazing talent!…SandraSent from Samsung tablet
