Covid Creativity: 8Apr2020

By Paulette Poirier

A photo was taken at the end of March during this time of change, of the unknown.   I used a brush but incorporated the knife for a bit of drama. Oil on canvas, 14 x 18”.

Collectif members, send an image of your very recent work to cagac.ca@gmail.com  with up to 100 words describing what you did, materials used, inspiration, etc. Maybe share how you’re feeling & how creativity helps. We’d like an informative, inspiring show & tell. For writers, send us poetry, lyrics, a short piece or excerpt.

    • Do you mean you’d like to have an image or poem up on the website, Ruth? You can’t post it directly, you have to send it to me as I am one of the webmasters. Send me your work and a few words describing what you’ve done, why, media , thought processes, whatever. Work needs to have been created during Covid.

  1. Interesting piece, Paulette. The expression, the colour choices and technique all give pause for an extended look.

  2. Paulette, you have perfectly captured what looks to me like a moment of reflection and uncertainty. Simply beautiful!
