By Lynne Ayers

So, I haven’t done any art since the fall because I have been working on my book, pushing it forward chapter by chapter. However, the art bug bit. I recently bought a set of Stabilo Fineliner pens and today I picked one up and did this on a piece of scrap mat board.
It is a scene from one of my one photographs and inspired by Paul Klee’s quote, “a line is a dot that went for a walk.”
I’m intrigued. I’ll do more. Will I add colour? I’ve done pen work in the past and not liked it when I used different colours, blue for sky, green etc. But perhaps I’ll splash colour randomly …? We’ll see. Book might have to wait.
Collectif members, send an image of your very recent work to cagac.ca@gmail.com with up to 100 words describing what you did, materials used, inspiration, etc. Maybe share how you’re feeling & how creativity helps. We’d like an informative, inspiring show & tell. For writers, send us poetry, lyrics, a short piece or excerpt.
So, you picked up a pen instead of a brush…what a great idea!…Since it’s a pen it’s almost like writing…it is the story in strokes…Well done, Lynne…I like it!…SandraSent from Samsung tablet
