This afternoon the Collective’s latest mural was officially unveiled at the Township building to an appreciative crowd.  WOW, what a mural! The Collective now has two long-term galleries of artists’s work on the prominent outside walls of two buildings (Comfort Water @ corner Kenyon & Main, and The Township building) both very visible to folks walking or driving on Main Street, Alexandria!

This latest mural was officially unveiled by deputy mayor Karma Williams and councillor Jeff Manley, who is also chair of the Arts, Culture & Heritage Committee. Our own Yvonne Callaway acknowledged the great work by 32 of our artists and thanked the Township Council for the financial & moral support.

Cet après-midi, la dernière murale du Collectif a été officiellement dévoilée devant le public devant l’immeuble du canton. WOW, quelle murale! Le Collectif a maintenant deux galeries permanentes affichant les œuvres de ses artistes sur les murs extérieurs de deux bâtiments (Comfort Water intersection Kenyon/Main et l’édifice des bureaux du Canton) très visibles pour tout ceux qui marchent ou conduisent sur Main Street, Alexandria!

Le maire adjoint Karma Williams et le conseiller Jeff Manley, président du Comité des Arts, de la Culture et du Patrimoine, ont officiellement dévoilé le résultat de ce dernier projet. Notre propre Yvonne Callaway, a reconnu l’excellent travail de 32 de nos artistes et a remercié le conseil du canton pour son soutien financier et son support moral.
