SketchCrawl is a drawing “marathon” started by Enrico Casanaro in San Francisco & held by groups all over the world. It involves getting together with other sketchers in your city/town & spending a day drawing the scenes, people, places around you. The designated date for 2018 is Saturday, October 20.
This year, CAGAC member Alison Hall will lead a SketchCrawl group in Alexandria. We will meet at Mill Square at 10 am. Bring a stool, if you have one, some portable sketching materials (whatever you like to use) & your enthusiasm. Depending on the weather, we will seek out indoor venues, or at least a spot to warm up.
The idea is to sketch in our town & share our work with each other & online (eg. Facebook, personal blogs, SketchCrawl Flickr). Stay for 20 minutes or all day (e.g. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. or so, depending on weather).
Hope to see you there,
Alison Hall

Hi, Sketch crawl is a great idea but the date is wrong. The 20th is Saturday not Sunday. Brenda
